A favorite option is The Troutdale House by the Sandy River, where you can host a quiet ceremony and take portraits throughout the grounds and along the river without ever needing to leave the property.

I take on a limited number of 4-hour elopements each year, as I’m intentionally narrowing my focus to petite weddings and more immersive, multi-day wedding experiences.

Through this shift, I’ve found that longer elopement days — typically 8 hours or more — offer additional flexibility and breathing room, especially for couples who want a slower pace, multiple locations, or a more layered experience that unfolds naturally.
