That evening, we gathered with a small group at a local McMenamins for a laid-back reception that felt more like a celebration than an event. The next day, we left the country and turned our wedding into a multi-day experience—traveling through different cities, meeting up with friends along the way, and continuing to celebrate our marriage in ways that felt true to us.
